When you upload a selfie for shade matching, your image is used only to detect your skin tone depth and undertone. It is not stored permanently, shared with third parties, or used for any other purpose.

When you use the manual profile flow, the answers you provide are used only to generate your recommendations. We do not link this to any personal identity.

We may use anonymised, aggregated data — such as which skin tone depths are most common among our users — to improve our recommendation engine. This data cannot be traced back to any individual.

We use basic analytics to understand how people use HerShade. This helps us improve the product. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
